Timmy Naquin was born on December 10, 1962 to Joseph and
Emma Lepine Naquin. He as 5 brothers, Dennis, Daniel, Carson, Eddie and Sindy and 1 sister Donna. Timmy
attended Vic A. Pitre Elementary and Marrero Middle Schools.
His father gave him his first guitar, a Silver Tone Electric guitar at the age of 12 years old. Inspired by his father who
played drums, Timmy grew up listening to such Country greats as Ernest Tubb, Hank Williams, Norman Wade and
Stonewall Jackson.
Timmy's first musical job was at Frankie's Lounge in Des Allemandes, Louisiana. After that first job, he had the
occasion to play at several venues as: Hank's Place and The Corner Bar in Bridge City; The Gretna Tavern; The
Moulin Rouge, Scorpio, Zodiac, T-Boys, and The Nashville Inn in Marrero; Canal Bank Inn, Swamp Inn, Fireman's
Hall, Farmer's Market in Westwego; The Silver Spur in Jefferson; The Whistle Stop in Kenner; and Deuce's Wild in
Venice, Louisiana.
Over the past 32 years, Timmy has had the pleasure of playing with many local talented musicians as: Jerry Morvant,
DD Broussard, Ralph King, Nick and Carl Contranchis, Jerry Chiasson, Al Louvelle, Glen Landry, Aaron Foret, Hank
Brown, Lionel Foret, Bobby Tuttle, Jessie Cook, Tommy Green, Bobby Minjarez, Dennis Rivere, Smokey Gutherie
and Billy Joe Webb.
Timmy is married to Hattie Foster Naquin and they have 4 children, Timmy Jr., Nicholas, Tina and Danna and have
5 grandchildren. The couple still reside in Westwego
