Alvin was born in Marrero at West Jefferson Hospital on December 28, 1973 to Amelia T. Jackson-Thomas & Alvin
Jackson, Sr. and raised in Bridge City, Louisiana. He attended Bridge City Elementary, Stella Worley Middle, L. W.
Higgins High School and Louisiana State University.
During 1992-1993, he worked as a dishwasher at Ms. Emily's Steakhouse and at Burger King. Since 1994 he has
been a full-time entertainer and wouldn't have it any other way. "Lil Fats" as we all know him has been a musician for
over 30 years and has performed with, "The Music Machine", "Blue Eyed Soul", "The Foret Tradition" and many many
more bands.
Al grew up listening to New Orleans R&B & decided that Fats
Domino was his favorite artist. The two met in 1997 & became fast friends.
It is fitting that Jackson was selected to perform at Tipitina's in New Orleans during a special ceremony presenting
Fats Domino with the Grammy Awards he lost in Hurricane Katrina. He returned to Tipitina's to celebrate Fats'
birthday in 2008& counts those two shows among the best of his career & a great privilege to honor his idol.
Some of the Westbank venues he could be seen was the Keyhole & Old Fireman's Hall in Westwego, My Father's
Junkyard & Moulin Rouge in Marrero, The Buras Saloon in Buras & Boomtown Casino in Harvey.
On February 23, 2014 he married Tiffanie Cormier & has 2
children, Tia Jackson & Alvin E. Jackson, II.
He considers himself honored to be recognized and inducted into the

Coty was born on November 17, 1960 in Houma to Janice and James Knoblock, Sr. He has a sister Sandy and 4
brothers, Craig, Clint, Chris and James. He attended Oakshire Elementary, Evergreen Jr. High and H.L.
Bourgeois High.
Coty has been playing rhythm guitar for 50 years. Some of the bands he's played with are, "The Bayou Bandits,
Sidekicks and Sugarcane". He has sat in with a lot of bands but here are a few, Gary Red Necaise, Tony Bergeron
and Chad Little. He is working on an album. Now he and his wife Maria do a 2 piece band called, "The Coty Knoblock
Band".
The duo has played from Fort Smith Arkansas, Nashville, Tennessee, Mississippi Gulf Coast, Houma, Thibodaux,
Cocodrie, Chauvin, Lockport, Theriot, Morgan City and Berwick, Louisiana.
On October 25, 2015 he married his best friend, Maria Finane. The couple have 3 sons, Coty, Jr., twins Jasper and
Tanner. Coty also has 2 stepdaughters Renee and Autumn. Coty has 10 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild.
Coty was a firefighter for the City of Houma, a shipyard worker at Avondale Shipyards where he retired from that job.
Today he is working for International Paint as a sales and Technical Service Representative.
Coty and his wife Maria reside in Houma, Louisiana

Cully was born in Gheens, Louisiana on December 13, 1974 to Sterry and Evelyn Cressionie. He has / sister Sara
and 1 brother Rusty. He graduated from Central Lafourche High School in 1992 and attended Nicholls State
University.
At the age of 10, in the 4h grade, he began playing saxophone and continued thru his high school and college years.
And he also played bass drum during the marching seasons. At the age of 11, he asked his parents for his I" guitar.
He and his father's love of country music molded as they played on the front porch swing. Over the next few years, he
would sneak into the venues with his father's band (The Country Breakdown & Cedar Creek).
During his sophomore year in high school, he began playing in a garage band with his high school friends and in
1992 they entered into a local high school talent show and won I" place and Young Country was formed.
For the next 11 years, Cully played in venues from Texas to Alabama, providing lead vocals and playing rhythm
guitar for bands such as, "Young Country, Southbound, Members Only, Velvet Sky, Terri & The Fellas, Mule Kick,
Strait Country, and The Fender Brothers". He was lucky enough to open up for National Acts like Little Texas and
Lanco.
Cully resides in Raceland with his girlfriend Jill Adams. He
has 1 daughter Ali, 1 step-daughter Mallary. He also works in the Oil & Gas Industry as a Senior Sales
Representative for Martin Energy Services

Emmett was born in New Orleans in 1953 and raised in Algiers. He graduated from O. Perry Walker High School. He
worked as an apprentice jeweler at International Jewelers and later on oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico. After he retired
as an environmental analyst at Conoco Oil Co. he opened Gold Star Pawn Shop in 1992.
Emmett began playing guitar at 13 years old, and during high school, he joined the Walker High School Stage Band.
He and some high school classmates formed a rock band and played together in 11" & 12" grade. It was 20 years
later when he was invited to going the group "Common Groove" with 2 of those classmates. The group recorded 2
CD's & played at various clubs in the area but parted ways after 2 years. He also played guitar with the Wimberly
Family Gospel Group, including regular gigs at the House of Blues and at Jazz Fest in the Gospel Tent for a number
of years. He played with Wayne Folse and the Blue Rockers as well as Yvonne Williams, a New Orleans born blues
singer.
In 2006, Emmett was invited to join Al "Lil Fats" Jackson as their lead guitarist and has enjoyed playing at festivals
and state fairs from Texas to Alabama, as well as many casinos in Louisiana and Mississippi. He also had the honor
of playing with the band for Fats Domino at Tipitina's when the Grammy Association replaced Fats' Grammy that had
been lost in Hurricane Katrina's flood waters. Other notable gigs with the band has been playing in Las Vegas at the
Rockabilly Car Show in recent years and on Star Vista Time Life Cruises such as The Malt Shop Memories Cruise
and the Soul Train Cruise from 2014 to present

Freddie was born on December 27, 1979 in Chackbay to Leona and Chester Rodrigue. He has 1 brother Sterling "T-
Boy" • Savoie. He attended Bayou Beouf Elementary, Sixth Ward, East Thibodaux and Thibodaux High School.
He is a self-taught musician and got his first set of drums at age 5. While his friends played sports, Freddie played
drums on weekends at a very young age. At 12 years old, he played with
"Sook & The Breeze" band. "Sook" gave him the experience of a lifetime and taught him how to become a musician.
From there, he joined the Miller Point band as the drummer & some vocals.
The band played 90's country and opened for numerous national touring acts. Then some of the guys from the Miller
Point band formed, "No Boundaries" and Freddie played and sang with this band till 2007.
In 2007, Freddie married and decided to take some time off.
However, he got a call from the guitar player of "Velvet Sky"; they needed a drummer. Well his break never happened
because Freddie played drums for them for 8 years and became the lead vocalist. Today, "Velvet Sky" still has some
gigs, but Freddie's main gig today is, "Freddie Rodrigue One-Man Band". Two years ago, he decided to pursue music
full time. Since then, he has been able to play from Texas to Louisiana.
He is grateful to have the talent and opportunity to be able to do something he loves and also grateful to be inducted
into the Westbank Musicians Hall of Fame. Freddie still lives in Chackbay, Louisiana

Johnny was born on December 12, 1955 to Horace and
Irma Pennison. He has 1 sister, Susan and 1 brother Danny. He attended South Lafourche High School.
He has been playing lead and bass guitar for 54 years. His father put a guitar in his hands at age 9 and he started
playing with bands at age 14.
Some of the musicians and bands Johnny has performed with are: Peter Badeaux, Harry Anselmi, Vin Bruce, Dudley
Bernard, Forest Martin, Philip Cheramie, Carl Soudelier, Rick Folse, Calvin Parfait, Ronnie Plaisance, Benjamin
Bruce, Roger Dowdy; not to leave out, "Cotton & The Boll Weevils, The Boss, 4 on the Floor, Connect 3, Ruff &
Ready, The Bayou Kings, Bronson & Bayou Rain, Southern Boyz, Gilligan, Benjamin Bruce & The Acadians and the
Roger Dowdy Band.
Johnny played all over Southeast Louisiana from Golden
Meadow, Galliano, Larose, Cut Off, Gheens, Houma, Thibodaux and Paradis. In such venues as: P.J.'s Fed Pond,
Stagecoach Lounge, Country Inn, The Butte, Gheen's Truck Stop, Frontier's Lounge, Estay's Lounge, Ramada Inn,
Music Cove, Gabby's and
Paradis Club.
Johnny is married to the former Joyce Guidry and has 1 daughter, Jessica and 1 grandson, Dominick. The couple
resides in Cut off, Louisiana

Kyle was born on March 23, 1970 to Gary & Kathleen Harrigan
Thomas. He has 1 brother Kevin and 2 sisters Karen & Kristin. He was raised in Terrytown and attended Christ the
King Catholic School & Brother Martin High School.
He has been a musician for 46 plus years playing trumpet, bass guitar, guitar, drums and vocals. His journey began
in 1978 taking private trumpet lessons at Campo Music in Terrytown, then playing bass & vocals with
ARMAGEDDON, then vocals with RAID, singing in Brother Martin & UNO's chorus. He is the founding & last original
member of EXHORDER with vocals from 1986 - present & guitar from 2021 - present. He performed & recorded with
Roadrunner Records, Nuclear Records, and vocals with PITTS IS. PREPS & JONES'S LOUNGE. Klyle was a
Bourbon Street performer for 9 years also many cover bands from 1993 till present. In 2012 he joined TROUBLE and
is still a member today.
Kyle has performed in many nightclubs & halls like The Waterfall
Club, The Four Columns & The Jungle on the West Bank, Storyville Jazz Hall, Tipitina's, Jimmy's Music Club,
Southport Hall, House of Blues, The Howlin' Wolf, RC Bridge Lounge to name a few. He has also toured in countless
cities and countries on 4 different continents since 1987, from youth centers & fairs to theaters & arenas worldwide. In
1998 he performed with FLODGATE & opened for Motley Crew at the Saenger Theater in New Orleans. He has
recorded 10 full length albums & co-produced 5 of them with 8 albums being international releases.
Kyle is married to Rene' for the last 14 plus years & has 2 children
& 2 step-children and 1 grandchild. The couple reside in Metairie, Louisiana

Mike was born on August 1, 1958 in Thibodaux to Adam and Dorothy Hebert.
He has 5 sisters, Brenda, Lynette, Juanita, Karen & Kathy (deceased). He attended West Thibodaux Jr. High & in
1976 graduated from Thibodaux High School. During his high school years and after, he worked in his family
business Hebert's Meat Market until it closed. In 1980 until 2020 he worked & retired from Cintas with 40 years of
service.
At the age of 14, his father taught him to play bass guitar. At the age of 17, he wanted to be a drummer, so that year
he received a set of Ludwig drums. He expressed his interest of being the drummer of a band to Randy "Sook"
Sanchez.
"Sook" then
invited Mike to attend band practices and for the next 4 years he played with "Sook" and The Roadway Band.
The end of 1978 thru 1979, Mike played drums with Mike Vice & The Rhythm Kings. During that time he taught
himself to play rhythm guitar. In 1980 he began playing rhythm guitar with several bands including, Sunsets, Shake-
A-Leg & Impressions.
In 1982, Mike along with Wayne Bourgeois, Percy Bergeron, LeeRay Foret & Leon Barrilleaux formed a band called
Anything Goes which played all across South Louisiana for the next 8 years. Mike then played 5 years with The
Rising Storm Band out of Chackbay.
Mike then joined Way Down South band with Bryan & Dwayne Zeringue,
Johnny Totino, Eves Bougeois and later Wayne Bourgeois & Rick Folse. The band disbanded in 2013 but Mike still
occasionally does a job every now and then.
During his 45 years of music, Mike has played numerous weddings, Christmas &
New Year's Eve parties, fairs, festivals & benefits. He's played from Grand Isle, Golden Meadow, Thibodaux,
Chackbay, Boutte, Raceland, Morgan City and even the Westbank at The Junkyard and Scorpio.
Mike is married to the former Shelley Seghers for 38 years. They have 1 son Jarrad "Munki" who has followed in his
fathers love of music. The couple now resides in Houma, Louisiana

Mitch was born on June 3, 1962 to Nelson and Rita
Matherne in New Orleans but raised in Cut Off, Louisiana. He attended Holy Rosary Catholic School and graduated
from South Lafourche High School in 1980.
He has been playing guitar since 1974 and was greatly inspired by John Denver. Through the decades he's played
with, 4 on the Floor, Roger Dowdy, Harry Anselmi and Dudley Bernard. He's played in many clubs and dance halls
including The Stage Coach in Galliano, The Glow Room in Golden Meadow, hotels in Thibodaux and on the
Westbank. Mitch also performed at festivals such as The Grand Isle Tarpon Rodeo, Lagniappe on the Bayou in
Chauvin, French Food Festival in Larose and the Cajun Festival in Galliano. Additionally, Mitch owned a music store
in Cut Off in the 1980's. He even wrote music of his own and recorded 2 records at Uncle Pott's Recording Barn, with
his most popular record entitled, "Cold Saturday Morning".
Currently, Mitch is playing with Benjamin Bruce and the Acadians. Benjamin Bruce is the grandson of Cajun music
legend Vin Bruce.
Mitch and his fiance Judy Danos currently reside in Cut Off and he has 2 step-children and a grandson. He has been
working for the Louisiana Department of Transportation for 17 years.
Sadly on February 10, 2024 Mitch passed away; our condolences to the family & friends of Mitch Matherne

Nelson was born on January 13, 1953 in Pierre Part to Wilbert and Edith
Cavalier Blanchard. He has 2 brothers, Davis & Jessie and 1 sister Martha. He attended Pierre Part Elementary,
Assumption High, LSU & Nicholls State for music education.
Nelson has been a professional musician for over 63 years playing keyboard, guitar, bass, sax, mandolin drums &
vocals and a music producer for over 41 years.
He began in 1963 performing with the RICHARD BROTHERS in Pierre Part, Bayou Pigeon, Belle River & Grand
Bayou. In 1966 he started a group called NUE SOUND which played in venues in Morgan City, Franklin & other
South Louisiana towns. In the early 70's he began performing in Baton Rouge 5 nights a week at mostly house gigs.
In 1976, he formed the band SOURCE in places like the J Club, Mother Earth, The Moonlight Inn & continued to
perform in Texas, Oklahoma, Florida & Mississippi. In 1984 he moved to Baton Rouge & built Techno Sound Studio &
worked with Britney Spears, The Goo Goo Dolls, Head East, LeRoux, Tab Benoit, Kenny Neal, Jamie Lynn Spears,
Don Rich, Kane Glaze, Kyper, Toussaint McCall, & Luther Kent to name a few. In 1997, Nelson joined LOUISIANA
LeROUX, which performed in venues across the Southern United States. The band has performed with, Lynyrd
Skynyrd, 38 Special, The Atlantic Rhythm Section, Wet Willie, The Guess Who, Blood Sweat & Tears, Edgar Winter,
Styx, Little River Band, Sam the Sham, Charlie Daniels, Steve Cropper & Marshal Tucker. The band was nominated
for a Grammy in 2007 with Tab Benoit & had 3 top 5 Blues Albums on Billboard & #l selling CD's on
¡Tunes in 2020. In to 70's & 80's they toured nationally & performed on The Midnight Special. Their song,
"New Orleans Ladies" remains a staple on many bands song list.
As a solo performer he has shared the stage with Shenandoah, Travis Tritt, Ernie K-Doe, The Nelsons, Chubby
Checker, Jimi Jamison(Survivor), David Pack (Ambrosia), Jim Peterik (The Ides of March), Bobby Kimball (Toto),
John Elefante(Kansas, Bill Champlin(Chicago), Rickey Medlocke(Lynyrd Skynyrd) to name a few. As a songwriter,
Nelson has written for Kenny Rogers, Shenandoah, Sammy Kershaw, John Schneider, T Graham Brown, LeRoux &
others. He has written a dozen songs with Scott Innes for Warner Bros. that have been made into music videos on
Scooby Doo's DVD's & distributed worldwide.
Nelson resides in Baton Rouge with his wife of 39 plus years, the former Carolyn
Holland. He has 3 children Rhett, David & Shelia, 6 grandchildren & 5 great-grandchildren

"PBR PLUS" band is based out of the Houma/Thibodaux area. The band entertains all ages with music from the 50's
to the present, performing Oldies, Swamp Pop, Country, Rock & Soft Rock, from the likes of Fats Domino, Smiley
Lewis, Tracy Byrd, Conway Twitty, The Eagles, Rolling Stones, Allman Brothers, Brook Benton, Chuck Berry, Van
Morrison, Chris Stapleton, to Prince with outstanding harmonizing.
The band members include Pershing Wells, Bryan Zeringue (2011 Inductee),
Richard Toups, Jody Naquin and Cory LeBeouf (2022 Inductee).
Pershing Wells was born in Houma & currently resides there. He has been playing guitar for 50 plus years. At the age
of 21, he relocated to Colorado playing ski areas & bars in Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska & Wyoming. He also
recorded with Mitch Ryder & the Detroit Wheels in Denver. After 5 years, he relocated back to Louisiana.
At 31, he played the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville. From 1984 to 1995 he performed with Blue Eyed Soul Revue. He
also worked for over 10 years at places in New Orleans like Jazz Fest, Storyville, Tipitina's, with artists like Percy
Sledge, Ernie K-Doe, Oliver Morgan, Jean Knight, Jessie Hill, Frankie Ford, The Dixie Cups & Eddie Bo. In 2017 he
toured Russia. He has recorded & produced 90 albums & still hasn't slowed down.
Bryan Zeringue was born in Houma & resides in Thibodaux. He has been a vocalist & rhythm guitarist for over 50
plus years. In 1975, the band Way Down South was born playing Old Classic Rock & Roll and later changed to
Country, Swamp Pop & R&R. In the late 80's the band dissolved & he then played with, The Harry Anselmi Band, The
Stevens' Brothers Band, The Bouree' Band, The Sweet Water Band, Sook & the Breeze Band & The Cane Breakers.
In the late 90's, Bryan & his brother Dwayne revamped Way Down South along with Eves Bourgeois, Mike Hebert &
Wayne Bourgeois. He performed in many a venue in South Louisiana including such places on the Westbank as The
Moulin Rouge, Hank's Place, Steve G's, The Scorpio, The Country Club, Boomtown & The Fireman's Hall. Pershing,
Bryan & Richard formed PBR Acoustic Trio in 2023 & PBR Plus followed.
Richard Toups was raised in Houma. He's a singer, songwriter & percussionist & has been performing for over 56
years. He comes from a musical family and started at the age of 14. His I" band was a 7 piece horn band called, The
Living Sound. Then he formed a band called The Levee Band with Rod Roddy & Tony Haselton which envolved into
Louisiana LeRoux. From there he performed with bands like Madonna, Blue Eyed Soul Revue, Kingsroe, Percy
Sledge, Oliver Morgan, Ernie K-Doe, Dr.
John, John Fred, Jerry Jeff Walker, Pete Fountain, Moss Point, Jazmine & The Cane Breakers to name a few. Jody
Naquin was born in Pointe Aux Chene & raised in Houma. He has been playing guitar & bass for over 50 years. In
1973 he formed the band Aerie with school friends & placed 1" in the battle of the bands in 1975. From 1980 to 1998
in played lead guitar with Marauder, Seabrook, Open Road, Take Five. He played bass with Voodoo Bayou who
opened acts for Restless Heart, Eddie Money, Blackjack Billy, Phil Vasser, Louisiana Le Roux & Justin Moore. In
2015, he joined Southpaw playing bass, in 2022 he joined Orange & in 2023 he joined PBR Plus & still plays with
these bands.
Jody also performs with singer/songwriter Gordon Bradberry & recorded original music with Voodoo Bayou &
Southpaw with some of the music having been featured in movies, TV & videos. Jody has performed and/or filled in
with several notable bands throughout the South.
Cory LeBouef was born in Houma & raised in Chauvin. He has been playing
drums professionally since age 13. He has played with many bands & other professional musicians as, Treater Band,
Chubby Carrier, Amanda Shaw, Waylon Thibodeaux, Lee Greenwood, Tito Jackson, Jr. Lacrosse & Don Rich. He
was also a session drummer with Capital Records, affiliated with Warner Bros. Records and MCI Records. Cory is
also playing music with Leon Barrilleaux & Mark Dufrene in the Hot Sauce Band. He played music for many years at
The Junkyard, Scorpio, Moulin Rouge, Bayou Barn, The Opry, on Broadway Street in Nashville & on Bourbon Street.
Cory has played in 8 countries, 48 states, & has been on 6 albums, multiple demos & countless singles

Rhonda was born on November 25, 1959 in Houma, Louisiana to Evey J. and Rita Authement Trosclair. She has 1
brother Evey Jr. and 1 sister Dolores. She graduated from South Terrebonne High School in 1978.
She has performed with many notable bands as,
"Gumbeaux Family Variety Band, Le'Metro, The Reverbs, Glory Rhodes, Kingsroe, Backbone and Rhonda & The G-
Men".
Rhonda has also backed up as a vocalist, Ernie K-Doe with the Glory Rhodes, Percy Sledge with The Reverbs and
has made commercial & CD recordings with Chris Wells. She sang at the Pinnacle Lounge and the Fat Cat Club with
the Glory Rhodes.
While singing with Kingsroe, she performed at many carnival balls, on cruise lines and was inducted into the
Louisiana Hall of Fame on April 21, 2002.
Rhonda has 1 son Lee, 1 daughter Lauren and 2 granddaughters, McKenzie and Amelia. She worked at St.
Charles Parish Hospital and MRI of Louisiana at West Jefferson Medical Center and retired in 2018.
She resides in Luling, Louisiana with her fiance Gregory
Arthur

Steve was born on December 22, 1952 in New Orleans to Harold and Elma Burke. He has 2 brothers Dennis and
Brian (deceased). He attended Redemptorist High School, Delgado Jr.
College and received a BME Music degree from Loyola University in 1976.
Steve began playing clarinet in 4* grade and plays all woodwinds since the age of 9. His main instrument is the tenor
sax. He has performed overseas in countries like Switzerland, China, Spain, Italy, Holland, and Finland just to name
a few. He has performed at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival since 1986 with several bands including over
25 years leading Frankie Ford's band, The Dixie Cups and Jean Knight. Steve has performed for 25 years plus at the
French Quarter Fest with the Storyville Stompers.
Some of the Westbank venues he has played in are: Mert & Vic's, Larry's Wego Inn on the Hill, Keyhole, Fireman's
Hall, Scorpio, Moulin Rouge, Wu-Du Lounge, Crow's Nest, Round Table, Suburban and Celebrity.
Just a few of the bands that Steve performed with are: "The
Q, Storyville Stompers, Dwayne Dopsie, Luther Kent, Flipside, Dixie Cups, Deja' Vu, Billy Horaist, No Idea, New Suit,
Wild Honey, Alley Cats, Wayne Foret and Herb Tassin.
Steve retired in 2018 from Kentwood Springwater as HR manager and Director of Risk Management with 31 years of
service. He and his wife Tammy have 4 children, Jessica, Ashley, Dawn and Robert; 4 grandchildren Anna, Ava,
Tyler and Tanner. Steve and his wife reside in Ponchatoula, Louisiana
