The term "blue-eyed soul" was coined in the mid 60's to describe white musicians who performed soul & rhythm &
blues music made popular by Black artists. The Righteous Brothers were probahly the 1" artists to be described as
performing this style of music. The band was formed to take audiences back to the soulful hits of the 60's & 70's. The
group performed the "Sweet Soul Music" of Otis Redding, James Brown, Wilson Pickett, Sam & Dave, Percy Sledge,
The Temptations, The Four Tops, Stevie Wonder & others. The also performed many hits by New Orleans Legends
like Fats Domino, Ernie K-Doe, Irma Thomas, "Frogman" Henry, & Aaron & Art Neville.
Blue Eyed Soul was formed in October of 1983 & was composed of 6 members who all had roots reaching hack to
this soulful period. As the band came to be known as an opening act or "back-up" band for many legends as Fats
Domino, Bobby "Blue" Bland, Chubhy Checker, Delbert McClinton, Irma Thomas, Blood Sweat & Tears, The Platters,
Percy Sledge, Sam Moore of Sam & Dave, Jimmy Clanton, Tommy Ridgely, The Dixie Cups, A/ "Lil" Fats Jackson &
others.
The band has also performed with many great swamp pop artists including Johnnie Allen, Clint West, Rod Bernard,
Warren Storm, Charles Mann, Jivin' Gene, Joe Barry, Tommy McClain, T. K. Hulin, Barbara Lynn, G.G.
Shinn & many others.
Blue Eyed Soul has played at nearly every popular nightcluh in South Louisiana including, The Bengal, The
Godfather, The Scorpio, Executive II, Calahan's, The Foundary, The Iron Horse, Armadillo Club, The Tiki, Cajun
Landing, Parrott's, MeGuire's, The Town & Country, Big Daddy's, Sugar's Lounge & many casinos like Boomtown,
Treasure Chest, Silver Slipper, Jubilee, Hollywood's, Casino Rouge, Casino Magic, Grand Casino, Cypress Bayou,
Amelia Belle & Hard Rock Casino.
This band performed at numerous fairs & festivals in Louisiana & Mississippi including the international Rice Festival,
Shrimp & Petroleum Festival, Tarpon Rodeo, Oyster Festival, Jambalaya Festival, Gumbo Festival, Crawfish Festival,
Cajun Hot Sauce Festival, Italian Festival, Lagniappe on the Bayou, Frog Festival, Washington Parish Fair.
Thihodaux Fireman's Fair, Natcher Balloon Race, Cruisin" On The Coast to name a few. The performed for 25
consecutive years at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival hacking up New Orleans R&B legends Percy Sledge,
King Floyd, Ernie K-Doe, Eddie Bo, Jean Knight, Frankie Ford, "Frogman" Henry, Robert Parker, Al "Carnival Time"
Johnson and others.
They appeared several times on "Louisiana Jukebox" a New Orleans Cox Cable music show. In 1988, an album
featuring Ernie K-Doe & Blue Eyed Soul was released on Syla Record label, produced by Milton Batiste, entitled
"Burn K-Doe Burn" includes remakes of his higgest hits. In 2002, the band recorded an album with swamp pop
legend Joe Barry entitled "Been Down That Muddy Road" released on New York's Night Train Records In 2005, the
band appeared in the movie "Happy Here and Now" performing a new song by Ernie K-Doe in a scene filmed at his
Mother-In-Law Lounge
During its more than 41-year existence, Blue Eyed Soul has had numerous personnel changes but has always
maintained a high level of performance from its veleran musicians. Original members included, Pershing Wells,
"Sleepy" Brunet, Phil Roddy, Bryan Leicher, Michael Vice & "Jimbo" Arthur. These musicians deserve recognition
since they helped to create the powerful authentic sound that Blue Eyed Soul Revue is known for.

Brentt was born on November 20, 1973 to Shirlene Thompson and Ronnie
Arcement, raised in Algiers & attended John Curtis Christian School (Class of 92').
Brent has / sister Linsey Brezeale.
As a child, Brentt watched his dad playing drums & in the 80's his dad was the drummer for "SKOR" who were at the
time backing New Orleans legend Lee Dorsey.
At the age of 9, Brent played drums for 1 song at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival while backing up Lee
Dorsey. When he actually started doing gigs, he wasn't old enough to be in the club. He spent his 18" birthday at
Rhythms on Williams Blvd. with the I" local band he played with called, "Night Shift".
In 1994 he relocated to Southern California to pursue a music career. He started out doing studio sessions & playing
with many different wedding & corporation bands.
In 1998, he was introduced to Mr. Dennis Rodman (yes the basketball player) which developed into a 20 plus year
friendship. Mr. Rodman introduced Brentt to many musicians & songwriters. He was then introduced to the
Kowalezyk brothers from the band "Live" which brought him into the world of Rock n' Roll. From that point he played
& recorded with the bands, "Live, Adam & the Weight, Fiona Apple, The New Black 7, Jaded, Scarlet Crush, & The
Smithereens". Also while in California, Brentt worked at Costa Mesa Studios as a staff producer/session drummer,
Soundhaus Music & Phat Planet Music as a composer for television & film production.
After being in California for 20 years, Brentt decided to come back home 9 years ago. Since being back, he's worked
at the Music Shed Studios as a producer along side Jack Miele for the 1"6 years. At that time he played up & down
Bourbon Street with various bands as well as with local band, "MOJEAUX".
Brentt is currently the drummer for "White Lion" which has done 2 tours of the
United States & is currently scheduled in 2025 to tour Australia & the Philippines.
Brent has 2 children, Nola & Zane which are the light of his father Ronnie &
step-mother Gracie's eyes. He currently resides in Marrero, Louisiana

Darel was born on November 20, 1967, in Plaquemine, Louisiana, the youngest son of 18 siblings to Whitney & Betty
Price Gros. He was raised in Baker, La. until the age of 9 when his family moved to Shriever, La. where he attended
H.L. Bourgeois High School.
Although Darel's father Whitney a trumpet player, wish was that none of his children to go into that line of work. So
Darel stayed away from any instruments or singing while Whitey was alive. His father died when he was 15 years old.
He had 2 brothers that did get into music. He remembers listening to them & going to the bars with his mom & her
friends watching Southern Pride with Bobby & Ronnie Foret & guys like Tony Bergeron. Darel's brother Wayne
recognized his potential & pushed him to get into music. Darel has been a musician for over 39 years playing guitar &
singing.
Darel's I"band, "Country Connection" composed of his best friend & his dad.
While his brother Wayne kept the band going, Darel joined "Miller Point". Eventually, Darel came back to "Country
Connection" as lead vocalist & the band went on tour.
The band opened for over 30 national acts including Toby Keith, Billy Joe Royal, Diamond Rio, John Anderson, Doug
Stone, Highway 101, McBride & Ride, Tracey Lawrence, T Graham Brown, Ricky Van Shelton, Steve Wariner & Lee
Roy Parnell to name a Few. The band also played at some well-known places & events like, Cajun 103
Appreciation Show, Thibodaux Fireman's Fair, Bronco's nightclub & all over the towns of Larose, Lockport, Des
Allemands & Thibodaux. Darel put music on the back burner with the birth of his 2 daughters. When his daughters
were older, he & his brother Jerry started a band called "Pepper Jelly" & recorded a single, "They Don't Break Hearts
Like They Used To" written by Dustin Sonnier & recorded at Ray Tone Records by Ray Hebert & Tony Ardoin. After
this single, he started a second band for solely old country called, "Darel Gros & The High Rollin Band" which is still
active.

Club, Cowboys, The Music Cove in Houma, The Foundry, The Iron Horse & many others in Thibodaux & Bear Creek
Steakhouse & Saloon in Montpelier.
Darel has worked at International Snubbing Services for 18 plus years. He's been married to his wife Fannie for 29
plus years. They have 2 daughters, Hannah & Hattie, 3 grandchildren, Isabella, Thomas & Andi

Darrell was born on July 12, 1950 to Shirley & Raymond "Smokey"
Hartman. Darrell has a sister, Sandra Scott & a brother Randy Hartman.
He was raised in Westwego & Marrero and attended Westwego Elementary, Westwego Middle School & West
Jefferson High School.
He has been a musician for over 43 years, playing guitar, bass
guitar & vocals.
Some of the bands he performed with are: "Country Swingers
Band", "Hot Sauce Band", " Lafourche Cajun Band", & "Cajun
Countree Band".
Over the years, he played at the Bayou Barn, Michaul's Restaurant,
many VFW dances & numerous hotels in downtown New Orleans.
Darrell is retired after dedicating 41 years of service to Bellsouth &
AT&T.
He's been married 53 years & has 2 children, Jon & Angela & 4
granchildren


Born on June 1, 1958 in Port Sulphur, Louisiana to Vincent & Patricia Barrois, He was raised in Venice & Belle
Chasse, Louisiana. Lawrence has 1 sister, Dondra & 2 brothers Vincent and Joseph (deceased).

He is co-owner of Dental Images for the past 32 plus years. Lawrence &
his wife Marjorie, of 33 plus years, raised 2 daughters, Amanda & Lauren.

Lonnie was born in Houma on December 12, 1971 to Glen & Lillie Lapeyrouse.
He has 1 brother Eric. Lonnie graduated from Terrebonne High School, has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology & a
Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Nicholls State University.
He is primarily a guitarist & vocalist but also plays bass, drums & piano, for the past 39 plus years. He picked up a
guitar at the age of 8, but didn't get serious till 13.
At 14, a friend loaned him an electric guitar & amplifier & never looked back. In the 80's he took the bass players' job
in a swamp pop band called "City Boys". Later he started a country band named, "Sweet Surrender". We later
brought in Bobby McCarty on keyboards who is the father of Jeff McCarty the current singer of Louisiana Leroux.
Once back home from the military, he married, had a child & was working as an
electrician. At that time he was mesmerized by the blues of Stevie Ray Vaughn & incorporated those skills into his
playing. A few years later he was called up on stage with "Skyline" featuring Sonny Fox, Danny Liette, Jason Eschete
& Percy Bergeron at the Tropical Oasis in Houma. From that moment on he was hooked & decided to start another
band. He then played with various local bands in the surrounding parishes, filling in as a guitarist & vocalist.
Eventually he started a 3 piece rock hand called "Trilogy" with Mark Duplantis & the late Danny Lirette.
The band opened up for Eddie Money, Loverboy, Little River Band, Corey Stevens, 38
Special & many more. Later he was asked to join "Southern Cross" after their guitarist passed away. Also, he later
auditioned & became the guitar player for a bigger horn band called, "Soul Survivors". At the same time he was
involved in
"More Than Sunday" a Christian worship band who recorded 3 albums. He is currently the guitarist & lead vocalist of
a rock & roll band, "The Caniacs" & lead singer for "The Soul Survivors" who has acquired a female vocalist Summer
Rodrigue. Lonnie is also the guitarist & back up vocalist for Jr. Lacrosse band.
Lonnie has played for private functions, festivals, club & halls across the state &
also performed in Denver, Orlando, Texas & Mississippi.
Lonnie is the father of 3 children, Kayla, Luke & Leo & 2 grandchildren, Avery
& Harper. He currently resides in Houma, Louisiana

Lyn was born on September 16, 1954 to Anna Nell Richard
Thibodaux & Lawrence "Sonny" Thibodaux in Houma, Louisiana. She is the younger of two, sister of Bernadette
Thibodaux.
She started playing alto sax in the s* grade & continued all thru high school. She began her singing career in
Thibodaux at the Cellar Club with Randy Richard on keyboards, "Jr" Rodrigue on lead guitar.
They played various functions around the Lafourche/Terrebonne area for many years. She joined the group, "Back
Seat Memories" with Mike Fanguy on tenor sax, Joey Adams on lead guitar & vocals, Roger Naquin on rhythm guitar
& vocals & Stan (husband) on drums & vocals.
Lyn continues to record at Digital Sac-d'-Lait Productions with Pershing Wells in Houma for the past 20 years. She is
currently working on her 6" album project. Her 1" CD was "Red Satin", her 2nd was "Satin Dreams", her 3"" was
"Country Diamonds", her 4" was "Country Pride" & her 5" was "Rhythm".
She is honored to have met & became friends with Louisiana's own
Jimmy Clanton & his Executive Associate Sandy Weeks. His mega hits,
"Just A Dream" & "Venus In Blue Jeans" made him a teen idol. Lyn wrote & recorded a song entitled "Jimmy Oh
Jimmy" about him. She performed her song on stage for Jimmy at his Baton Rouge concert & at his Mathews
concert. She was also one of his back up singers at the Harang Civic Center concert in Thibodaux. Lyn was honored
& very appreciative when Jimmy wrote a song for her entitled " Gave You My Heart" which she recorded & is on her
"Rhythm" CD. She also recorded a duet with Jimmy entitled "Gee Whiz" which is also on her "Rhythm" CD.
Lyn and her husband Stan, who is also a member of the Westbank
Musicians Hall of Fame, reside in Schriever, Louisiana

Born on June 2, 1976, Trampas is the son of Randy "Sook" & Cheryl
Sanchez & the brother of Samantha A. Sanchez. Raised in the close-knit community of Choctaw, he attended
Chackbay Elementary, Sixth Ward Middle School, East Thibodaux Jr. High & Thibodaux High School.
Music runs deep in the Sanchez family. Following the footsteps of his father "Sook", Pook is a self-taught musician
who has mastered the bass guitar, box guitar, keyboard & drums. With 36 plus years of experience under his belt, his
passion for music has never wavered.
Pook's musical journey has seen him play with numerous bands over the
years, including "Three of a Kind",
"Silver Wings", "Standing Room Only",
"Sook & The Breeze", "Royal Flush", "Swamp Country" & countless others.
His talent has allowed him to share the stage with a wide array of gifted musicians, including his father, Sook, as well
as Sterling Hebert, Lester "Boo" Boudreaux, Jr., "T-Boy Savoie", Freddie Rodrigue, Andrews Badeaux, Shannon
Soignet, Bryan Zeringue, Pete Pitre, Paul Benoit, Darrel Benoil, Mack Rodrigue, Sr., Kurtis Loupe, Sr., Brady Loupe,
Allen "Tator" Rodrigue, Mack Rodrigue, Sr., Eves Bourgeois, Danielle Guidry, Robert Businelle, Leon Barrilleaux,
Derrick Tauzin, Karl Adams, Jr., Keith Daimon, Joe Trahan & many more.
Throughout his career, Pook has performed at some of the area's most legendary venues such as the Moulin Rouge,
Silverado, Howard Johnson, Fred's Place, Foot's Place, Golden Meadow Bowling Alley, The Sunset Inn, The
Armadillo Club, Gabby's, Congo Lounge & various fairs, festivals & VFW events.
Pook's family is significant to him. He is a loving husband to Rhonda A.
Sanchez & together they have supported each other thru his music career. Pook is also a proud father to Gaige,
Sydnie, Paul & Madalyn. When he's not playing music, he cherishes spending time with his family & enjoys playing
music with his band mates.
Today, Pook continues to keep the legacy of this father, Sook, alive through his enduring passion for the music while
also nurturing the love & support of his family

Rod was born on November 1, 1963 to Charles & Rosemarie
Fleetwood. He was raised in Terrytown & attended George Cox Elementary, Livaudais Middle School & graduated in
1981 from West
Jefferson High School
Rod worked for Cox Cable, Sound Trek Audio & John Henry
Enterprises. He has been a musician for 49 years, playing bass & guitar full time since 2005. He was also inducted
into the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame in 2024.
He played bass with, "Savage White", "Rocktress", & "90 Degrees
West". He played guitar with "Vieux Carre Band". He had 3 releases entitiled, "Blues It Up", "Waitin' on the Hurricane"
& "News About the Blues".
Rod is currently playing bass with, "Mothership" a Led Zeppelin
tribute band, "Bucktown Allstars" & "Rock Show NOLA".
Some of the venues Rod has performed in are: Boomtown, Gretna Fest, St. Cletus, St. Andrew's, Four Columns,
Spanky's, Scratches, Jerry's Place, Jazz Fest French Quarter Fest, House of Blues, Rock n Bowl, Southport Hall,
Treasure Chest, Hard Rock, Paragon, L'Auberge Casinos, Champion Square, New Orleans Convention Center,
Orpheum, Civic & Filmore theaters, Strawberry Festival & all the major hotels in downtown New Orleans.
Rod currently resides in Old Gretna, Louisiana

Vince Anthony was born on June 27, 1936 to Vincent & Mamie Guzzetta & raised in Berwick, La. He has 3 siblings,
Julie, Lylah & Greg. He attended Berwick Elementary, Sacred Heart Academy, Nicholls University & LSU in Baton
Rouge. He served as President of Guzzetta Oil Company from 1960-1994 & Guzzetta Offshore Marine Service from
1965-1995.
His musical career began in 1957 playing steel guitar, bass, guitar, keyboards & lead vocals. He played continually
from 1957 thru 2019 performing Dixieland, Rock & Roll, Country, Swamp Pop and Oldies. In 1959, he formed the
band Vince Anthony and The Blue Notes which continued till 2019. The band played numerous festivals, clubs, bars,
lounges, Mardi Gras balls, parties & private events in Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi, Alabama & Florida. He first
recorded the song, "Never" & "Sneakin Home" at Hilton Records in Alexandria. He also recorded for Viking Records
in Crowley, Cosimo Studios in New Orleans, Montel Records in Baton Rouge & Midnight Gold Records in Morgan
City. He recorded a total of 21 CD's, 545's, 3 LP's & 2 singles on the Billboard Top Ten Country Charts.
Vince performed at numerous venues, too many to list all but here is a partial list: the Capitol Building in Washington,
D.C, Shrimp & Petroleum Festival, Scorpio Lounge, Land O' Pines & Yogi Bear Campgrounds, Spar's, Tiki Lounge,
Boutte Bingo Hall, Treasure Chest Casino, Pat's, Club Coozan, College Inn, Cypress Sawmill Festival, The Foundry,
The Rose Club, Amelia Belle Casino, Hollywood Casino, Palm Casino, Cypress Bayou Casino, Down Beat Club,

Vince married the former Debbie Godfrey in 1988. The couple raised 5 children & have 8 grandchildren & 2 great-
grandchildren. They currently reside in Morgan City, La

Wayne was born on August 1, 1950 in Seminole, Texas to Lucille & William Francis Merrill. He as 2 sisters Delores &
Donna (both deceased) & 1 brother Mark.
At the age of 7, the family moved to Harvey, Louisiana where he attended Harvey Elementary & Marrero Jr. High,
George Cox Jr. High in Gretna & finished high school in the U.S. Army. After his discharge he attended 2 semesters
at UNO.
He was a self-taught drummer. His first time playing with a group, at the age of 15, was at the Scorpio Lounge, giving
drummer Midge Terminie a break. He didn't get paid; he just played for the experience. His 1" paying job was at the
age of 17, playing 6 nights a week at the Scorpio & had the privilege of playing with Curly Langley, Robert & Wesley
Ferrier, Tommy Sea, Earl Ortega, Jimmy Trahan, Johnny Bonvillain, Russ Russell, Billy Nord, Jessie Laird, Charlie
Bagasse, Jim Stapleton, Mike McKay, Joan Montel & Barbara St. James.
Wayne then left for Florida with Bob Seargent, who was playing at the Silver Eagle Lounge & got a job there with a
band that needed a drummer. They met up with Gene Thomlinson at the Wagon Wheel & backed up Mel & Pam
Tillis. He left that group & played in Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana, Texas & Nevada.
Some of the clubs he performed were The Scorpio Lounge, Keyhole, Frank's, The Balcony, Canal Bank Inn, Send
Spur Lounge. Silver Dollar Lounge, Sheraton & Holiday Inn Circuit in Florida, The Wagon Wheel, Straw Hat Lounge,
Nashville Nevada Club, Peppermint Lounge, The Back Door, Carter Country in Harvey & Texas & Bronco's in Gretna.
Over the years, Wayne has played with such bands as: The Traveling Embers,
Country Souls, New Seasons, The Irvings, The Clyde Owens Show, The Frankie Lowery Band, Ray Salter Band,
Bobby Stapler Band, Louisiana Outlaws at Carter Country that backed up George Strait. The band also opened for
Earnest Tubb, John Anderson, Orion, Peggy Forman, Charlie McClain & Larry Brosso. Louisiana Outlaws also played
a show at the Superdome with Hank Williams Jr., Merle Haggard & Danny Davis & the Nashville Brass Band.
After his music career, Wayne worked 5 years at Western Geophysical & retired in 2013 with 20 years of service with
Schlumberger Seismic. He was married to Loretta Hindelang Merrill for 40 years. When they married Loretta had 3
daughters, Lisa Breland, Billie Jo Pigniolo & Tricia Vise. Wayne has 5 grandchildren & 5 grea-grandchildren. Wayne
now resides in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi

Zac was born in 1976 in Raceland, La. to Zachary Cheramie, Sr. &
Mona Champagne. He is a graduate of South Lafouche High School.
He has been working in the oil field business for 25 years.
He started playing gigs in high school & it's been a large part of who he is ever since, even 38 years later he is just as
obsessed with the guitar as he was when he was 10 years old. He has been very fortunate to be a part of bands
through the years, playing guitar & vocals. Zac has performed with, The Dream Junkies, No Boundaries, The Steve
Williams Band, Lydecosis, Velvet Sky, The Blue Label Trio, The Less Deadlies, Mule Kick, Zac & B3 & currently with
Shorts in December.
Some of the places he has played are, The Greenhouse, The Brick House, Jimmy's Music Club, Ruby's Roadhouse,
The Texas Club, The Varsity, Bourbon Street Blues, House of Blues in N.O., Myrtle Beach & Chicago, Boogie Bar in
Nashville. Also playing casino gigs from Lake Charles to Biloxi & many festivals like Voice of the Wetlands in Houma,
French Quarter Fest, Catfish Fest in Conroe, Texas and his favorite The French Food Festival in Larose.
Hard work & luck has taken Zac to countless gigs across & states over the past 30 plus years. Thanks to his family &

Zac has been married to his wife Angelle for 25 years. The couple
