Dean was born on March 8, 1954 to Herbert and Peggy Dufrene Charpentier.
He has one brother, Tommy and one sister, Jada C. Dubois. He attended South LaFourche High School and
utilimately received a Masters in Education. Dean plays guitar and bass guitar.
He got his first guitar at the train station in Raceland when he was 10 years old and still has it today. With the boys in
the neighborhood, they formed a "garage band".
The members were Glenn Rousse, Wayne Rousse, Chris Duet, Eldrige Anselmi and Dean. When he was 14 years
old they got their first gig resulting in playing for many weddings and dances.
While in high school he joined the, "Country Blue Boys" with Mike Collins, Jimmy Gisclair and Louis Guidry. Their
main gig was at Roger Carmadelles in Chenier, Grand Isle along with many weddings, dances and festivals.
In college he played with a group called "Chantilly" at many clubs along Bayou
LaFourche and Grand Isle. The members changed along the way like Eldridge Anselmi, Pookie Anselmi, Rodney
Doucet, Gary Gisclair and Jody Lasseigne.
In 1977, Dean joined the "Seabrook Band" and played with them for over 40 years. Again many changes in the band
over the years but Dean played with Derek Comeaux, Ronnie Plaisance, Pookie Anselmi, Gary Angelette, Jody
Naquin, Daly Breaux, Kern Rodriquez and Ronny Arcement. The band was very popular for many years playing
clubs, weddings, festivals, Mardi Gras Balls and parades.
Dean married the former Debbie Fazzio and have 2 children, Jarrod & Tara, 2
step-children, Sean & Ryan and 9 grandchildren. The couple resides in Houma, Louisiana

Jerry was born on January 15, 1950 to Leo & Ida Harvey Rousselle. •
He has 5 brothers, "Chispa", Leo, John, James & Christopher and 2 sisters, Regina & Mary Ann (deceased). He
attended Holy Trinity Grammar School, Holy Cross High School & LSUNO.
He started playing drums at Holy Trinity in the 4" grade & continued
playing through high school. Jerry received the "DC Schaub Award" for outstanding musicianship. He got a call from
his brother "Chispa" & he got me in a band called the "KIM Bros." & traveled with them for 2 years.
Jerry has played with many, many bands such as: "Mad Men", "New
Era", "Esplanade", "Benny Grunch & the Bunch", "The Esquires", "The Contours" & "The New Orleans Levee Board"
just to name a few.
Some of the venues include: The Round Table, Suburban Club, Mel's Villa, Fireman's Hall, Down the Hatch, Tahiti
Club, Fat Cat, American Legion Halls, many private parties & weddings.
Jerry moved to Tennessee in 1993 but moved back home in 2019. He
retired from AT&1/Bellsouth with 28 years of service.
He is married to the former Judith Daigrepont for 41 plus years. The couple has 2 daughters, Ashley & Lindsey, 2
grandchildren, Preston & Natalie and reside in Pearl River, Louisiana

Jay was born on November 26, 1962 in Baton Rouge to Mamie & Larry Bouche'. He was raised on the West Bank
and has one brother, Jon. .
He attended Vic. A. Pitre, St. Rosalie, Marrero Middle, John Ehret, Fullerton College, an Undergraduate Degree from
UNO and a Masters Degree from USM.
Jay began playing guitar at the age of 8 and was raised in a family-
owned music store on the Westbank named Jay's Music/Sound Post Music. He moved to California in the 80's with
an endorsement from Polytone Amps. He was also in the July & August 2015 issues of Vintage Guitar Magazine as
an endorsee for KJL Amplifiers.
Some of the bands Jay has played with are, "Toxic Shock" from 1983-1985, "Action" & "Mistreated" in California and
in the early 90's with "Vieux Carre"", in 1995-2005 " Oak Alley". Since 2010 to the present, Jay has been playing with
"Boot Hill". He has played at many local venues such as, The Fireman's Hall, Waterfall Club, The 4 Columns,
Plaquemines Seafood Festival, Orange Festival, Alligator Festival, Ducks Unlimited, Festival of the Bonfires, Gretna
Fest, Our Lady of Prompt Succor and Perpetual Help fairs, Boomtown Casino, numerous weddings, cook-offs, private
events & Mardi Gras balls.
Jay was a teacher for 14 years at Belle Chasse High School, Assistant Principal for 11 years at Belle Chasse Middle
School and finally retired from the Plaquemines Parish School System with 25 years of service.
Jay has been married to the former Rebecca Vardeman Bouche for
the past 34 years and the couple resides in Gretna

John was born on June 30, 1972 to Perry & Emma Chighizola. He has / brother, P.J., & 1 sister Peggy (deceased).
He attended Grand Isle High School, • U.L.L., Nicholls State & Delgado Community College.
John played trumpet all through 12 years of school. In his pre-teen years, he was introduced to The Pott Folse family
band playing on their porch in Grand Isle, which he thought was magical. At age 14, he began playing drums in a
band called,
"Chance" named after the lead singer Glenn Chance Jr. Eventually in Thibodaux, he became lead singer too with a
band called, "The Generics". He then joined a New Orleans based band named, "The Gashouse Gorillaz" as lead
singer. After being diagnosed with vocal cord paralysis, he joined, "The Mixed Nuts" as drummer only.
He also played gigs with,
"The Bucktown Allstars", "Mojeaux", "Royal Street". After
hat, playing keyboard/vocalist, he performed with, "Shorts in December" & a band lamed. «zra
Street". After years of playing with both bands he joined, "The Kings of
Neon" performing from Orlando, Florida to Tulsa, Oklahoma & everywhere in between.
John has been a drummer/lead singer for 35 plus years & also plays guitar & keyboards. He has also played with,
"No Idea", "The Topcats", "Chee Weez", Warren Storm, G.G. Shinn, Tommy McLain & John "Papa" Gros. He also
performed with National Acts as: Cyndi Lauper, Brett Michaels, The Temptations, The 4 Tops, Allen Toussaint, Fats
Domino, Dr. John, Rockin' Doopsie, Jr., Irma Thomas, The Drifters & Al "Carnival Time" Johnson.
He's performed in such local & national venues as: Segnette Landing, Hurricanes, Whiskey Cowboy, Jeager's,
Amberjacks, Champion Square, New Orleans Yacht Club, Omni Royal Hotel, L'auberge in Baton Rouge, Lake
Charles Civic Center, Beau Rivage, Hard Rock Café in New Orleans, Hard Rock Hotel in Mississippi, IP Casino,
Triple Tails, Freniere Landing, Felix's North & Southshore, Sheraton Hotel in New Orleans, NOPS/ Hotel, Marriott
Hotel, Harrah's Casino, Riverside Hilton, Audubon Zoo, N.O. City Park, New Orleans Arena & Superdome, House of
Blues in New Orleans, Orlando & Dallas, Hard Rock in Orlando & Sunrise, Florida, Whiskey-A-GoGo in Los Angeles,

John was a former police officer, firefighter & EMT all in Grand Isle. He presently owns & operates Mowtown LA
Lawncare & Landscaping. He has 2 children Christian Voorhies & Chance Chighizola and resides in Metairie,
Louisiana

Judy was born on October 8, 1953 in Port Arthur, Texas to Rita & James "Deacon" Anderson; the youngest of 4
children. Her father was a musician & songwriter who played the lap steel guitar & wrote the song
"Ragg Mopp" which was a hit for the Ames Brothers. It was inevitable that she would follow in her sibling's footsteps.
Her brother, James, was a musician & vocalist. Her sister, Sheena began singing with James & Sister Sherry who
was a writer.
Shortly after graduating in 1972 the family moved to New Orleans.
She joined the band, "New Orleans Levee Board" at the Round Table in Gretna with her sister Sheena & her
husband Danny Hebert. The trumpet player, Chispa Roussell took her under his wing & taught her breathing
techniques so she could learn to sustain notes. Like "Cheers", The Round Table was like a family, the band, the
workers & the patrons who came to listen to this great band all knew each others' names.
Judy & her brother James performed at "Crystal Palace" with the Aubrey Twins. Then came back to the West Bank &
formed the group,
"Rag Mop" & performed at Down The Hatch in Gretna. Judy & Sister Sheena performed at the Celebrity Club with the
band "Clean Sweep" & at the Fat Cat Club with Jimmy Simon & Mike Enzino. The sisters continued to perform on the
West Bank at Trump's and Visco's as well as "Critic's Choice" & Chesterfields in Metairie. She was blessed to work
with other talented musicians as Ralph Bowers, Johnny Thomassie, Luther Kent, Harry Ravain & many others.
Judy moved back to Lake Conroe, Texas, outside of Houston, in 1994, going into real estate & volunteers in rescuing
dogs & finding them forever homes. She has one daughter Lana Springer, 3 grandchildren & 3 great-granddaughters.
She has been blessed for having the opportunity to share her life with so many. Music & New Orleans will forever be
a warm heartfelt part of her life

Ralph was born on February 23, 1953 in New Orleans to Ralph & Edna
Bowers & has one sister Linda Bowers Gipson. He attended & graduated from Chalmette High School in 1971.
Since 1966 he's played bass guitar & has performed with Allen Toussaint, King Floyd, Professor Longhair,
Gatemouth Brown, Earl King, Lenny McDaniel, The Staple Singers, Jerry LaCroix, Fats Domino & Jerry Fisher to
name a few. Ralph has also played with bands who have opened for Toto, The Allman Brothers, Stevie Ray Vaughn,
Rick Springfield, Heart, Santana, B.B. King, Tina Turner, Elvis Presley, Ted Nugent, Thin Lizzy, Huey Lewis & the
News, The Pretenders & Humble Pie.
He has his own studio where he produced music/albums for Kermit Ruffins, Anders Osborne, Benny Grunch, Vince
Vance, Billy Joe Royal, Jimmy Elledge, Tab Benoit, Joe Krown, Jerry Jumonville & Jon Smith, a few of who are
Grammy & RIAA Gold Record recipients. He also wrote, in 1981, the song, "I Can't Fake It No More", which reached
#75 on the Billboard Hot 100.
While still in high school, in 1970, Ralph began playing on the West Bank. He played in a band called "Mom's
Creation" that played at the Crow's Nest and several other clubs like Don's Safari in Galliano & many places down in
Plaquemines Parish. He played for West Jefferson High School Senior Prom in 1971.
In 1973-1975 he played at the Round Table with the "New Orleans Levee Board" with Danny Hebert, Chispa
Roussell & Ray Shall, guys that he still plays with occasionally today. From 1975-1976, Ralph played with the band
"Rag Mop" at Down the Hatch in Gretna, featuring James, Judy & Sheena Anderson, Danny Hebert & Harry Ravain.
They took the band on the road throughout Texas, Kansas, Arkansas & North Louisiana. Later Harry & Ralph hooked
up with another traveling band called "Quantrell". Returning to Gretna in 1978, Ralph began playing with Jimmy
Elledge in Biloxi & years later would record & produce Jimmy's final album.
Ralph moved to Texas to start up a band with James Anderson which played in Oklahoma, Kansas, Texas,
Arkansas, Louisiana & Mississippi. Eventually, they were signed to CBS Records & Ralph's song was the single.
Wanting to return to Gretna, he joined "Jimmy Simon & the Groove Band" at the Fat Cat Club & shared the stage with
the late Jimmy Simon, Sheena & Judy Anderson, Laurin Munsch, Sharon Riolo, Cranston Clements, Bill Solley & the
late Mike Inzinna & Richard Hale. The band played there for 9 years. After the Fat Cat, Ralph played with "Kingsroe",
"Lenny McDaniel", "Kipori Woods", "Tomato &
the Bassomatics", Jerry Fisher & more recently the "Wa Wa Band" on Bourbon Street. He is currently a member of
"Crescent City Soul Band" & subs when he can. Ralph still resides in Gretna with his wife Terri. He has 2 children
Erin & Matthew Bowers & 2 step-children Robbie & Nicholas. In addition to playing music, he retired in 2019 after 30
years for the Department of Defense at Naval Air Station in Belle Chasse in military flight simulation

Sheena was born in Port Arthur, Texas on April 20, 1948 to James
"Deacon" Anderson & Rita Hinds Anderson. She has 3 siblings, James Jr., Sherry and Judy. She was raised in the
Golden Triangle area of East Texas & attended Port-Neches-Groves High School.
Sheena has been performing & singing since the age of 5 with her father, who was also famous for writing the 40's
song "Ragg Mopp". The song became a hit for the group, "The Ames Brothers".
After moving to New Orleans in 1971, she began singing with her
brother in the band,
"Rollercoasters" at the Invanhoe Club on Bourbon Street.
She also did session work with Mac "Dr John" Rebennack & Albhy Galuten, a producer/songwriter at Criteria Studios
in Miami. After working in many clubs in New Orleans area, Sheena moved to the West Bank.
In 1973, Sheena began working at Billy Fayard's club, The Round Table with the band, "New Orleans Levee Board".
Along with her sister, Judy, her brother James & Danny Hebert, they formed the band "Rag Mop" and opened the
club Down the Hatch in Gretna. The next several years saw Sheena & Judy performing at the Celebrity Club with
"Clean Sweep", The Fat Cat Club with "Jimmy Simon & the Groove Band" & at The Cellar Club. She has also
performed with "Luther Kent & The Trick Bag Band" & talented musicians as Ralph Bowers, Johnny Thomassie &
Harry Ravain. Besides performing at clubs on the West Bank, she also shared her talent with audiences at Critics
Choice & Chesterfields in Metairie & Marina Wharf in Chalmette. She was blessed to be able to tour across the US &
perform with many amazing artists but always considered the West Bank to be her home base.
Sheena moved back to Texas in 1994 & became program director working with traumatic brain injury patients. She
retired in 2013 but the desire to be around music was still very much a part of her life. She began teaching singing
lessons at The School of Rock & performing shows with daughter Khenna.
She has 1 daughter, Kheena Savage Pineda & 2 step-children Chester
"Chet" Hebert III & Melissa "Missy" Hebert Laughlin & 2 grandchildren James & Cameron Pineda. Her motto towards
music is: "Where words fail, music speaks
